PavanBob is a renowned Bollywood choreographer duo known for their dynamic dance style, innovative choreography, and ability to bring cinematic dance to life. Comprising Pavan Shetty and Bob (Bob Sir), the duo has worked with some of the biggest stars in Indian cinema and created iconic dance moments that have left a lasting impact on the industry.

Both Pavan and Bob started their careers as background dancers before working as assistant choreographers under Bollywood’s top industry veterans. Bob, originally from Mumbai, trained under Ahmed Khan and later collaborated with Adil Shaikh, Remo D'Souza. Meanwhile, Pavan Shetty, originally from Belgaum, Karnataka, made his way to Mumbai in 2008 and also assisted Adil Shaikh, where the two first crossed paths in 2012.

In 2018, their shared passion for dance and storytelling led to the creation of PavanBob, a choreography venture that quickly became one of Bollywood’s most sought-after dance teams.

Their work spans Bollywood films, music videos, award shows, and commercials, but their most groundbreaking project came in 2019 with the ‘Marvel Anthem’. Produced by Dharma 2.0, directed by Punit Malhotra, and composed by A.R. Rahman, this anthem was historic as it marked the first time A.R. Rahman danced on-screen, choreographed by PavanBob.

In 2024, they were honored with the Satyajit Ray Icon Cinema Award for their exceptional choreography in the Netflix film Friday Night Plan (2023), starring Babil Khan and produced by Excel Entertainment.
